Bassist ‘Phil The Beat’ is also a founding member and composer. It has been common practice to name our songs after him; "Stilphil" (Perseverance) and "The Legend of Phil The Beat" (Endurance) are prime examples. Funk Grooves by PTB like "Once Upon A Groove," "Kickin Stick," "Really Cool" and "Blues Crossing" are SounDoctrine staples.
A professional DJ and avid music buff, P-Beat loves exploring new technologies and is the official ‘gadget man’ of the group. He’s also a die hard Laker’s fan! Phil is married (to Jere B’s Sister) Rosalyn. They have two children, Elena & Eric.
