Reminiscent of Earth, Wind & Fire’s Phillip Bailey, newcomer Sheldon Grayson steps into his debut with energy and grace. Berklee School of Music grad Jeremy DeJesus positions his elegant flute right across the ‘stop&start’ backbeat while Hubert Clardy gently slides his piano underneath. “Selah” is quite the excursion.
