How many books have you read with the intention to change? Where are those books now? How much of it have you employed? Not much I would surmise. The reason we often fall short of our change goals is do the fact that our reading is not a fully participatory exercise; hence we are inactive in the process. A few years ago I taught a foundational class to students, many of whom were not accustomed to studying. The book that we used was designed to be a daily lesson and journal in one. The results of the class were beyond my wildest expectations. The students were engaged and passionate about their work. They learned and retained the information with great recall. Building on that methodology, this book will aid you in your self-development of principles taught. As you read this book, you become an active participant. Write daily and create your self-coaching path to success. Usually success is found in the nuggets that we glean from conversations with others. There are nuggets within the library of our consciousness that add richness to our lives if we were tap into them. Selah - Stop and Think About It!

“Selah” is another of SounDoctrine’s Soulful Contemplation of Rhythmic ‘Jazz meets World’ featuring Vocals by Sheldon Grayson and sensational flutist, Jeremy DeJesus. With Jerry Thompson’s thought provoking lyrics juxtaposed against SounDoctrine’s smoldering undercurrent, “Selah” easily flows right into your ‘repeat’ file. Produced by Jere B and longtime engineer, Jerry Thompson, SounDoctrine continues their exploration into experimentalmusic that engages their listeners without locking them into one genre of music. Masters of “Originalternativefunkjazzfusion!” the ensemble displays the dexterity that has kept them an indie favorite since 2002. Reminiscent of Earth, Wind & Fire’s Phillip Bailey, newcomer Sheldon Grayson steps into his debut with energy and grace. Berklee School of Music grad Jeremy DeJesus positions his elegant flute right across the ‘stop&start’ backbeat while Hubert Clardy gently slides his piano underneath. “Selah” is quite the excursion. “Selah” is the second single release from SounDoctrine’s forthcoming fourth album, “Source.”
